Menopause Counselling

What is the menopause?

The menopause occurs about 12 months after a woman has stopped having periods. It's a natural part of ageing that typically happens between the ages of 45 and 55 years old.

Symptoms can begin months or even years before you have your last period, and tend to cease after 4 years. Although, every experience is unique and you could live with symptoms beyond this. Women can experience;

Hot flushes

Night sweats

Vaginal dryness

Discomfort during sex

Difficulty sleeping

Low mood or anxiety

Reduced sex drive (libido)

Problems with memory and concentration (brain fog)

Here for you, when you need

As you enter this phase it can be a really daunting time, and the worry over the unknown can only exacerbate the symptoms you are experiencing.

We can help you navigate by providing advice and therapy sessions on understanding your symptoms, how to deal with the changes you may be facing, and what to expect. We provide support on which supplements may help, or just be there with a listening ear when you may be feeling unheard.
